As the weather starts to warm, we will be having more and more sightings of these beautiful creatures. Please note that the Gopher Tortoise and Sherman’s Fox Squirrel cross roads to get to their home or a location to graze. These animals are protected. Therefore, please be cautious of them. Last week keeping my distance in the car, I waited for a tortoise to cross the road; he/she went about their business grazing after crossing. Please note if you are doing any land clearing the association’s documents require that you have your lot reviewed by a licensed environmental specialist, and please share that with the office. Enjoy the photos, and they are all compliment of Brenda Roberts, Wild Life Club Director and amazing photographer!
