The much-awaited sign is now in production. The county had to look over the new materials and location before issuing the permit, since the sign is in the right of way, and Pine Ridge had to follow all steps pertaining to the county building and planning departments review.
The sign design is durable, yet still break away as is needed, it has a different design, as well as materials and will sit back three feet from its original location.
It is anticipated to be ready for installation within the next eight weeks.
A notice will be sent out when lane closures will occur for the removal and installation.
