Are you looking for ways to feel comfortable and confident with your concealed carry method?

At this concealment workshop you’ll learn a three-step method for tuning any holster so that it is as comfortable as possible while also as concealed as possible, recognize where compromises can be made, and the consequences of those compromises.

  • Bring your UNLOADED carry gun and empty magazine (we’ll check them as you come in the door), and holsters with any accessories that came with it. We’ll bring a few of our favorites for you to try, hopefully you’ll let others try yours.
  • Bring a couple different types of belts
  • Wear a tight undershirt and underwear you don’t mind others seeing (maybe bike shorts or running tights?).

Class will cover:

  • Holster safety and testing
  • The physics principles of concealment (brief review only)
  • Concealment features found on contemporary holsters, and how they work
  • How body type affects concealment
  • Comfort – how to identify root causes and solve comfort problems
  • Common obstacles to successful concealed carry
  • Concealment standards – How much concealment is enough?
  • Ways to overcome anxiety about printing without lowering your standards?

Sue completed a Concealed Carry Basics Instructor Development course taught by Sarah and Jon Hauptman (from Phlster) at the A Girl and A Gun National Conference in April 2023 and is pleased to bring their concepts to you.
