Pine Ridge has multiple Exercise groups that meet weekly up at the Pine Ridge Community Center. Whether it is Yoga or Aerobics you are interested in come get involved.

Come socialize with your friends and neighbors and get fit at the same time! I offer a wide variety of exercises ensuring that you will never get bored doing the same old thing for every class!

 For those wanting a custom fitness program in the privacy of their home, or here at the PR Community Center, I also offer Personal Training!  Aqua Aerobics is also available.

 

Fabulous and Fit – Mondays, 9:00 AM

Fab & Fit involves cardio, resistance and core training, all in one exciting workout.  The components may change from week to week, but rest assured you will get a full workout.  This starts with calorie burning cardio to improve cardiovascular fitness.  Next is resistance training with exercises working all of the muscle groups in both the upper body and lower body. Following is core training, strengthening this most important group of muscles in the human body.  Following is flexibility stretching.

*Participants need weights and a mat

Step Aerobics – Wednesdays, 9:00AM 

Step is a form of aerobic power distinguished from other types by the use of an elevated platform.  This is an Intermediate/Advanced class involving high intensity cardiovascular routines.  Following are abdominal exercises and flexibility stretching. Steps are available for participants to use.

* Participants need to bring a mat.

Stability Ball and Moving with Weights Thursdays, 9:00 AM rotate weekly between each

  • Stability Ball involves fat blasting exercises that tone the abs, thighs, gluts and more. Working on the ball forces the body to engage all the muscles that builds strength and improves stability.   Following are abdominal exercises and flexibility stretching.

*Participants need a stability ball, weights and a mat.

  • Moving with Weights combines cardio and weights designed to burn body fat and shape muscles with an easy to follow routine. Following this routine is core training. This includes core strength exercises that strengthen the core muscles which are the abdominal muscles, back muscles and muscles around the pelvis. Following is a longer flexibility stretch involving each muscle.

Yoga Meets every Tuesday at 9am in the barn

*Participants need weights, a mat and a resistance band.
