Pine Ridge Dog Park

The Dog Park is located at 5690 W. Pine Ridge Blvd. Beverly Hills, FL 34465 at the 94-acre complex and just beyond the community center. Park in the main paring lot and proceed as you were going toward the upper tennis/pickle ball courts, then it will be right on your left. It has designated small and large dog sides.

Registration is now open for the Pine Ridge Dog Run.  To register your Dog(s) go to the Pine Ridge website and navigate to the Dog Run registration page or follow this link https://pineridgeassn.com/pr-dog-park-registration/.

Registration requires some very basic information on You and Your Dog.  All Dog Run rules are on the site and once accepted you’ll be issued the gate code.

 

Pine Ridge Dog Park Rules

Pine Ridge Dog Run RULES AND REGULATIONS – Revised Feb 2022
 
 

All users of the Pine Ridge must be a Resident or an accompanied guest of a Pine Ridge Resident. All users of the Pine Ridge off leash Dog Run must adhere to the rules and regulations agreed to on your registration and those posted at the entrance to the Dog Run area. Violators of rules are subject to ejection and forfeiture of off leash Dog Run privileges. It shall be assumed that there is an inherent risk in allowing dogs to interact without direct control, so all participants that choose to use off leash Dog Run do so at their own risk of injury to selves and dogs. Persons making use of off leash Dog Run shall be responsible for injuries caused by their dogs to other persons and dogs. Persons responsible for any such injuries or property damage shall hold Pine Ridge Property Owner Association harmless for same. Copies of the rules can be obtained from the Association website or at the Association office or printed below.

  • I am an owner of a property within Pine Ridge Estates and a member of the association (PRPOA). Only owners and their guests may use the facility.
  • All PRPOA Members/Residents must register their dogs, acknowledge the rules, and receive the code to gain access to the run. Dogs using the Dog Run must be registered.
  • Dog Run is open Dawn to Dusk.
  • Do not let anyone other than your guests through the member gate at any time, regardless of what they tell you. Make sure you close the member gate after you, even if people are waiting to go through the gate. No dogs may enter that have not gone through the application process.
  • Guests. All guests must be accompanied by a PRPOA member. All Guests are governed by the same rules as a member. The Guest’s dog must be registered at the Dog Run Registration site under the Member’s name. Any Member found in violation of this rule will immediately have their privileges revoked.
  • Dogs must be on leash entering/leaving the entrance vestibule. When in the off-leash areas, they must be off-leash, except in the case when you must correct or evacuate the dog. Leashes must be with you AT ALL TIMES.
  • Watch your dog and always keep him or her within your command at all times, keeping your dog’s leash with you.
  • All dogs brought into the dog run must be in compliance with Citrus County Code Ch-14 Sec14-33 and are required to be registered and have a county animal license tag available when in the Dog Run. All owners assume responsibility to be in compliance.
  • Any dog that has been declared dangerous and registered in accordance with F.S. Ch. 767, will not be eligible for Dog Run privileges. Any member found in violation this rule will immediately have privileges revoked.
  • Rough play is fine as long as it is consensual. Rough play and chasing are not acceptable if any of the dogs involved, or owners are not comfortable with the situation.
  • If aggressive behavior is observed, take immediate action, and leave the Run.
  • Aggressive dogs that cannot be controlled in a community dog run setting, will be ejected, and forfeit off leash Dog Run privileges
  • Dog fights: To avoid a dog fight, I agree that I can control and command my dog while in the run and I will keep watch over my dog while in the run to insure it is not exhibiting aggressive or antagonistic behavior. I further agree that I will do everything possible to remove my dog from situations uncomfortable to me, my dog, or other dogs or their owners. I further understand that under no circumstances should you ever grab a fighting dog by its collar or anywhere near the biting end of the dog, as you risk being bitten.
  • Dog Feces: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
  • Digging: Do not let your dog dig holes. If your dog digs, fill in the hole.
  • Barking: If your dog is barking excessively, you will need to remove them from the run.
  • Dogs over one year of age must be neutered/spayed to enter the run. Some exceptions may be made by the            Dog Run Committee.
  • Children under 18 must be within direct adult supervisionwhile in the Run property.
  • Food:Nothing edible for dogs or people in allowed in the off-leash areas of the Run.  Human drinks and water for dogs are permitted. All drinks to carried in non-disposable containers 
  • Dogs in heat, dogs that are sick, and dogs with obvious external parasites or conditions (e.g., fleas, mange) are not permitted in the Run.
  • No more than 2 of your registered dogs per adult personin your household are allowed in the Run per visit.
  • Dogs over 35 lbs. are not allowed in the Small Dog Run.
  • I have read, understood, and will abide by all of the Pine Ridge Dog Run Rules and Regulations.
  • I further understand that Pine Ridge POA reserves the right to alter or amend its rules at any time.
