Pine Ridge owners are familiar with the various and beautiful wildlife that live and roam the community year round, but other larger wildlife seem to pass through every so often. Yesterday bear scat was reported to me, and this was found on a property in the vicinity of Stable Ct. and Pine Ridge Blvd. For those who have small pets be alert. In the past bears have been known to climb a tree to rest on a branch, and they also look for food, so keep your trash locked down and food for pets inside. Hopefully if there is a bear in the area, he or she is passing through.
You may report sightings to Florida Wildlife Commission or keep the office posted so we can push out notice of sighting and location.
