It’s getting colder, and while we live in comfortable homes with heaters, there are many Veterans who are homeless.
Pine Ridge Civic Association is partnering with Rowena McCoy (coordinator for VetBuddies) to purchase and distribute warm clothes for homeless Veterans.
As you go about your regular shopping, please consider throwing in a set of sweatshirts or sweatpants that can help keep these folks warm. They were there when their country called, now we can support them with a small but useful donation.
You can drop your donations in the large blue box next to the kitchen in the Community Center.
